I can’t believe it’s been a whole month now since we were in Italy. I haven’t really had that much time to look back on our trip before today. School has kept me busy enough.

 I don’t mean to say Italy was easy to forget. Maybe the reason I haven’t thought about it too much is that it makes me so emotional. I spent a wonderful week with amazing people. During that week I was truly happy and all of my worries were swept away. The sad news are, our week together is behind us. The good news are, we all made new friends and memories that no one can take away from us.

                                      

Italy was beautiful in a way I couldn’t have imagined. I want to thank everyone, especially my host Lucrezia for showing what real Italy is like. I fell in love. Even if we had stayed there for one month instead of a week, I don’t think we would have seen all of the beauty and wonderful things Italy has to offer.

 

I would like to thank our hosts for opening your homes to us, and letting us be part of your life for one week. Also, a big thank you to our teachers, both Italian and Finnish who made this project happen. You all worked so hard for us students and organized everything so well. I really hope you don’t think for one second that we took that for granted.
